In a not so recent interview, Gong Hyo Jin was asked to pick who among the hottest korean leading men known as the Four New Kings, would she wish to be paired with in her future project. Our Queen of Romantic Comedies get to pick from these hotties:

He rose to superstardom after he played Go Jun Pyo in Boys over flowers. He’s proven that he deserves to be one of the four new Hallyu (Korean Wave) Kings when he starred opposite Park Shin Hye in The Heirs. He was the lead in many hit kdramas in the past and has shown great chemistry with noona (older female) co-stars like Son Ye Jin in Personal Taste and Kim Hee Sun in Faith. It would be interesting to see Lee Min Ho get paired with Gongvely herself in a korean drama soon. But a sizzling hot lovestory in a movie with equally sexy scenes are a must-see if they ever get paired up in a project.

The alien who stole the hearts of legions of females of all ages and all nationalities after portraying Do Min Joon in You Who came from the Stars with fellow Hallyu powerhouse, Jun Ji Hyun could certainly hold up his own in a romantic comedy if he get paired up with the Queen of Romantic Comedy, Gong Hyo Jin. He has proven he has great comedic timing in his roles in Stars and in his breakout role in Dream High.

I first took notice of Lee Jong Suk when the played the role of the man-child in love with Oska. Playing a gay character in the successful drama, Secret Garden was a hit or miss affair but he has proven that he has the versatility and the audacity to play complex characters. He was well loved as Go Nam Soon and has shown that he could shine alongside drama veteran Jang Nara in School 2013 but he cemented his reputation as a noona-killer when he played the role of Park Soo Ha opposite Lee Bo Young in I Hear Your Voice.

The guy who stood side by side with Lee Min Ho in The Heirs and Lee Jong Suk in School 2013 has gained equal popularity with his fellow cast members as he has shown that his performance could rival that of the lead actors.

In the said interview, Gong Hyo Jin picked Lee Min Ho to star with her playing both strong and tough characters.

But personally, I would love to see Lee Jong Suk and Gong Hyo Jin in a project because I think both of them are the kind of actors who are dedicated so much to their craft that they would be willing to sacrifice image if they were given compelling and challenging roles. I can also say that both have this uncanny ability of creating great chemistry with their co-stars.

In case the project is a romantic comedy, my bet would be Kim Soo Hyun because if he could go head-to-head with Jun Ji Hyun as he did in Stars, he could certainly do the same if he teamed up with Gong Hyo Jin. Nevertheless, I would definitely support our Hyo Jin if she get to work with these kings of Hallyu in the near future.
